About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Establishing a meditation routine for myself.

ABOUT ME

Ok, I tried to think of something good, nothing good came to my mind, so this will be a short impro-self-description. Kilian's the name (just one "l", please ;) ), Germany is the homecountry, even though I wouldn't wanna place too much value on that. Studying how human bodies and minds work (or how the sometimes don't and what you can do about it) is what I do usually.

Usually I don't eat meat, but on travels I sometimes just wanna try and see what people eat at the places I'm heading to =)

PHILOSOPHY

Calm down, lay back and make others and yourself feel comfortable :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been surfing quite frequently during my trip across Australia (good times!) and hosting a few times a my parents' place. I can't really host at the moment, as I am living in a smallish one-room-apartment.

Interests

Brains and how all this peculiar mind-business works out.

I tend to be an avid language learner at times :) My main project during recent years has been Russian and I'm always wondering if maybe I should try to learn a bit of this or that language (Turkish being one of the main candidates at the moment :D)

I'm quite interested in ecological matters and the likes.

And I happen to scramble up rock faces at times.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Fountain, Into the Wild, V for Vendetta, Pan's Labyrinth, lots of others that don't come to my mind right now. The funky stuff, I'd say ;)

Recently I've enjoyed the likes of Akua Naru, Alcest and Fat Freddy's Drop. And there's always my personal classics, such as Oceansize.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having travelled to an old woman living in the countryside in Transnistria. I was told she was the last of the German inhabitants of that village and that she'd always be pretty excited to meet someone speaking German to her, so I ventured to what would be one of the most unusual encounters of my life.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Kazakhstan, Poland, Ukraine, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
