About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience as much as possible

ABOUT ME

I really enjoy psychology (specifically consciousness), philosophy, sunshine and summertime. I have a huge desire to travel the world as much as possible before I die (or humans destroy it). I've learned a LOT about myself in the past couple years and look forward to learning and discovering even more. Above all, I love traveling to new places and experiencing things I've never seen before :)

PHILOSOPHY

If your not happy with your life, change it! I believe life is a gift, and we should spend it being happy and pursuing knowledge and freedom. I never want to feel trapped or like I don't have control over my life and traveling gives me that sense of control/freedom. There is simply too much to do and the clock is ticking!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have done a little bit of surfing while traveling through Europe. I've only had the opportunity to host once and i'm happy to say that he's still a good friend. I've been to a few couch surfing meetings while living in Germany but have never really had a nice place long enough to do some more hosting UNTIL NOW!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've always had awesome hosts and have never had a negative (or even dull) experience. I'm very excited to meet all of you future travelers!

Interests

Movies, Music, Dancing (like, in-my-room-no-one-is-watching dancing) People, Board/Card games. I've also developed a passion for philosophy/meditation and personal development. I'm a HUGE fan of Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Hunger Games or almost anything fantasy so if you want to talk nerdy to me, go for it!

Music, Movies, and Books

I can't really list all my favorite movies but just know that they are mostly about traveling, adventure, philosophy and creative use of the screen.

All of my recent reads are "make yourself and the world a better place" type reads: The Power of Now - Eckhart Tolle; The Wisdom of Insecurity - Alan Watts; The More Beautiful World Your Heart Knows is Possible - Charles Eisenstein.

As far as music I enjoy electro-anything, "EDM" if you call it that. I usually just put on songza.com and pick a playlist. Do it now!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mardigras Party in Sydney - this should be on everyone's bucket list.

Scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef- it's like flying. It's definitely discovering a whole new world you had no idea was there. mind blowing

Waitomo Glow Worm Caves - I think this is my favorite memory ever.

Skiing in the Alps.

Hiking in the Canadian Rockies

Teach, Learn, Share

Ted.com - ted talks are the best thing ever. it's porn for your brain, I highly recommend it.

The population of Los Angeles is about the same as the population of Australia. about 20% of the population of Australia lives in Sydney and the population of Sydney is about the same as the population of the entire country of New Zealand.
