CURRENT MISSION

..started my 'second youth' recently by leading a 'nomad' life style travelling around low-budget in a small cabrio...well, recently is in the meantime close to 4 years, that being the time i'm on the road with "la Bertone S" (the small Punto Cabrio as can be seen on the pic.'s)...

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

...on this trip, "hostelling around" for the past 4 years (mostly in Balkan/ former Eastbloc countries) i've had the pleasure of meeting a lot of Couchsurfers, with sometimes wonderful stories. Some of them convinced me that i should be a member there as well, regardless my "higher numbers", simply 'cause i still lead that kind of lifestyle.

In all honestly i was a Couchsurfing host "avant la lettre", my studying years were mostly spent in A'dam, renting a small flat in the center made many a traveller crush out in 'my place', summerdays were full of backpacks from all over the world.
All this happening before the internet/ networking invasion of course...

Have used only couchsurfing meetings in various places in the world. But so far not asked to be hosted, am 'kind of' shy...do not really know how to ask things for myself, being a host would be a lot easier for me, but heh, those days are gone, a "Nomad" (as i've become one) simply hasn't got anywhere to host anymore...

we'll see maybe one day soon i'll make the big step and want to be invited....:-)...
