Once around the world....

ABOUT ME

I'm helpful and a trusted friend and I'm interested in many things - sports, politics, social engagement and education. I'm a teacher in a school for disabled children. During my studies I met my wife, who is doing the same, but out of us she is the workaholic.
We studied sports - physical education - and my favorites changed from wind surfing and table tennis when I was young to biking and cross country skiing nowadays. I try to spend a lot of time active and outside, which is sometimes difficult due to west-german weather conditions (no snow in winter- means: always driving). With my wife I enjoy taking a walk to the riverside in the evenings and having Cappuccino in our favorite Café. Out of us, she is the talkative one. She interacts a lot with all kinds of people, especially her friends, has had a season ticket for theater plays for years and if I wanna go hiking- I don't have to convince her!
Together we share all day activities but most of all traveling together! Right now we are trying to make it once around the world....

I was involved in organizing bike races for kids and adults.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

so far only through our children, they talk about it all the time and do both surfing and a lot of hosting. We met a couple of their surfers and went out for dinner and drinks with their wonderful host in Moscow- now me and my wife wanna try it for our own!
