I like to play, write, and listen to music. I like to read (and occasionally write). I really enjoy going out to hear music, I also enjoy going out to see a play or show. I really enjoy visual arts even though I have no personal experience with it other than observing.

I also like to travel, and I like to meet people (which often times coincides with one another)

Music, Movies, and Books

I really love jazz. I love most of what falls under jazz these days- bebop, hard bop, post bop, fusion (of all kinds), modern, jazz funk, free jazz (or at least elements of it), etc…

I also like Soul, Funk Rock, Classical, just about anything is enjoyable when done right.

Some favorite songwriters or composers would include John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Paul Simon, Jimi Hendrix, Sly Stone, Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, George Clinton, and all those who contributed to the great american songbook. I also like some of the great classical or concert composers like Schumann or Brahms or Beethoven.

I like reading and recently really enjoyed "Nothing To Envy", "The Seashell on the Mountaintop", "The Devil in the White City", "Braindroppings", "Slaughterhouse Five", "The Mysterious Stranger"… These are just some that I've read recently and enjoyed…

I don't know as many movies as most but I enjoy a good movie and usually love the Coen Brothers (Fargo, The Big Lebowski, Burn After Reading, etc)
