I grew up in a small town, Nastola, in Southern Finland. Later moved to the old capital Turku to study (and to get out of the old place). I've been here for about eight years now and can call it home. The small town girl still lives strongly in me - I love some peace and quiet.

I'm a calm and easy-going person most of the time. I might not open up all my mind at the beginning, but I'm friendly and honest. I have a little twisted sense of humour. You'll find me home watching movies or cooking more often than out partying. I like to sing, play the guitar and keyboard (not very well and just for fun), cooking, watching films, going for walks and doing yoga (still at a basic level). I live with my husband and our baby boy. My husband is originally from India, so you can say our life has something from both the cultures.

I'm up for hosting or meeting Turku visitors. And surfing someone's couch when I get a chance. UPDATE: Cannot host at the moment but maybe in the future...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
