Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent a month and a half in the fall of 2007 riding my motorcycle around the eastern US. It started out as a five day trip to Florida to visit my brother and I ended up being gone for a month and a half. I saw 27 states and stayed with friends, friends of friends, relatives I'd never met, and couch surfers. I was introduced to couch surfing on this trip and I've been a huge supporter ever since.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

It all depends on what type of mood I'm in or what I'm cooking. I like driving to fast to Irish punk rock, driving slow to NPR, baking to bluegrass, 2Pac for pancakes, country for milking cows, and classic rock for lifting weights. When I'm studying I like listening to
Andy Hackbarth (A friend and recording artists... check him out)
I like reading books about business, interesting people, good ideas, food, and far away places. I like most movies as long as they have a decent plot and good acting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I couch surfed at the Naval Academy. I had to shave, cut my hair, wear the regulation activity uniform, sleep in a closet, salute the right people, but we pulled it off for two and a half days without getting caught.

Teach, Learn, Share

You will make more friends in a day by being interested in other people then you will in a lifetime of trying to get other people interested in you.
