ABOUT ME

I was born in Concord, NH and moved to Gouverneur NY when I was ten. I played soccer, softball, and basketball all through high school and was always out camping and hiking. I attended University at Cortland State where I earned a degree in Psychology and studied abroad at the University of Waikato in New Zealand (Best time of my life!) I also visited the Kingdom of Tonga while I was out there, talk about a paradise! After I graduated I took a road trip out to Colorado to live in Boulder for the summer with some friends, I fell in love with a wonderful guy named Erik and we went on an adventure to find his father... Find him we did in Houston Texas... From there we continued on our journey to Fresno CA so I could start my graduate work there. This summer past summer our mission was to visit Alaska and we made it! It was amazing and I hope to go back there soon. We spend four years in Clovis/Fresno California and spent a year in McKinney Texas where I completed my internship and Erik worked landscaping. We have finally settled near Utica NY where I work at a forensic hospital and Erik works at a brewery (dream jobs for both of us!) we got married in September 2013 and have a beautiful two year old girl. We're expecting our second in November.

PHILOSOPHY

Awareness... we are all in the present moment and should not dwell on past or future, but at the same time try to incorporate all three... living in the moment and making the most of what it is is extremely important. Realizing that there is no good or bad, there just is and we control our perceptions of the situation... Love your life and live it to the fullest...

Whenever we are home, our house is open forever, and when we travel we appreciate the same in return!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted several times and have loved every second of it. We have also surfed several times and love that as well!

Intereses

TRAVEL!! Hiking, camping, running, basketball.. .anything active we guess. Reading, school... anything to enlighten the mind to help us become better people
