ABOUT ME

We (Hannah and Liberty) are sisters from New Zealand, but right now Liberty is traveling around the USA with her friend Kate. Liberty has red hair and studied English Lit, Kate is a tall blond with a degree in Art History. We both love love love art and music and culture. We enjoy meeting new people, young and old, and experience exciting different ways of living. We have a funny sense of humour having grown up in awkward old New Zealand. But we are OK. We're all good! It has also been said that we look a little like Patsy and Eddie from Ab Fab (if only!)

兴趣

Liberty loves to observe (not in a creepy way) - she finds social interaction fascinating, and takes note of the funny little things thrown into the air. Kate is in her natural habitat at art galleries, museums and gigs. We can both be wooed by food, music and adventure and a good book.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Liberty - Once upon a time my flatmate and I were driving home from a Wild Food Festival and we saw a dead Paradise duck on the side of the road. We stopped to inspect it - it had been freshly hit as it's poor wee beak was still bleeding and it was warm. So (inspired by all the wild food we had just seen and tasted) we put the duck (named Godfrey) in the car, drove the 2 hours home and then proceeded to butcher it with the help of YouTube and our limited tools - giant garden secuteers and a little kitchen knife. Imagine! Two faint-hearted kiwi girls ripping feathers off a duck and then cutting the meat from it, putting it in a pot and cooking up roadkill stew. (disclaimer - Kate is vegetarian, this was another friend)
