ABOUT ME

I am the oldest of 8 kids and I have two pet aquatic turtles. I hate shopping, unless its on ebay....I'm addicted to ebay. Recently, I found out that I am lactose intolerant, but sometimes I forget. So if you ever see me tyring to eat pizza, save me from the fate of horrible stomach aches. This summer I went to the hometown of Wal-Mart in Arkansas. I have a bad habit of popping my knuckles and biting my fingernails. Before I graduate I am going to study in France for a semester. My lifelong dream is to live in a log cabin somewhere in the mountains and collect cookbooks. Actually, sometimes I think that I was born in the wrong era and that I belong in the time of the pioneers. Laura Ingalls Wilder is my idol.

PHILOSOPHY

I love helping people. I am a sociology major. After I graduate I just want to help the homeless, orphans, foster kids, or the mentally handicapped. I haven't made up my mind, but as long as I am making a difference in this world. If I get the chance I would like to do mission work in Africa for several months.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I learned about couchsurfing through my cousin. I decided to check it out, but thought it might be a little sketchy. Two other friends and I couch surfed through Eastern Europe over spring break, and it was awesome. I can't wait to get home and open up my couch!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hmm my favorite would probably be in Berlin with Norman Stange, not Strange. We had an awesome time getting lost in Berlin and searching for the shiny thing. He was an awesome host. He gave up his bed cooked for us.

I had an awesome experience in Salzburg too. Sophia was an awesome host. She also cooked for us. She showed us around town, and we didnt get lost!

I'm outdoorsy. I love to camp, fish, stargaze, hike, bike ride, swim in lakes, wade in streams in my galoshes. I love to read and drink coffee, swing in hammocks and eat chocolate. I love my family, my friends, and faith.
