Who I am:
I am Haocheng, first of his name, breaker of Sterio-types, lover of making new friends. I've spent 98% of my time in China and last 6 years in Shanghai. However, I knew I was not going to spend my rest of my life there, when I first time came to Europe, Germany, 4 years ago. What I like the most about Europe is that people here are tolerant of difference. So I decided to quit my job and started a brand new life in Germany about half year ago. Currently I'm doing my master in German studies at Uni of Saarland.

A interesting project:
I've been running my personal Chinese version of "Youtube Channel" since 2 months ago. The main idea is to convey my life here in Germany, Europe to the folks in China and let them know more about Europe. So far, I've already got pretty positive feedbacks from people from all over China. Couple videos I made have been watched almost 10.000 times. I'd be super thrilled if you're willing take part in and bring your hometown or places you like, culture, landscape, events to the far-eastern old country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

1. The more places you've been to, the more you feel that the world is really full of unknown and the more desire you'll have to explore the unknown.

2. It is better to travel ten thousand miles than to read ten thousand books.But It is even better to getting to know thousands of people and learn from them.

I've made a backpacking travel through half Italy alone.

I've passed the TestDaf while I was on a trip in Budapest.

It took me only one day to decide to quit my last job and plan to come to Germany.
