CURRENT MISSION

Starting a new ecovillage.

We want to create Noah's ark in Taiwan, including ecological, aesthetic, spiritual and other dimensions, and become a model for sustainable life in Taiwan, want to promote the model in Taiwan. In order to reduce their dependence on money and to minimize the time and effort required to make a living, the 12Laose Eco-villages will be able to devote their time and energy to improving their physical and mental well-being and personal qualities through shared land (private donations), housing and infrastructure. And have sufficient time and energy to take care of more land, take care of human beings, reduce consumption, and share superfluous with group strength. At present, there are a number of work in the village is to build natural building (incorporates different alternative building methods ram earth,cob, stick fram,straw bale...)conduct a variety of ecological toilets production, rocket stove, home-made solar water heaters.

Teach, Learn, Share

Travellers will learn many things depending on which job is doing.
There's a lot to learn in terms of sustainable building, farming, food preservation.We can do piping,wiring,building,home repair,(experience for our own three house,one new built ,two rebuilt ),science and chinese teaching,potter,cooking,babysitting,farm skills.Outdoor acitivity organise and leading(climbing,camping,mountaineering,upstream....).
We owned a farm for a year.We love to plant(ten year experience) ,local herb,trees,vegetable,fruit,eat organic food.We love travel,had been to nepal(3times),india(2times),peru,bali.turkey.china.japan.......We love nature and outdoor sports.We love art,Calligraphy,yoga,T'ai chi ch'uan( Chinese martial ).guqin（The Chinese zither）

What I Can Share with Hosts

Travellers will learn many things depending on which job is doing.
There's a lot to learn in terms of sustainable building, farming, food preservation ,Outdoor skills(climbing,camping,mountaineering,upstream)Calligraphy,yoga,Tai chi ( Chinese martial ).guqin（The Chinese zit）and from the cultural exchange with us, including learning/improving language skills, etc.
As the community is accepting new members, visitors may also be able to get a piece of land to build their own eco home and become part of the eco village.
