Resumen
Sobre mí
Hi! I’m Haoji, a 28 year old who probably spends too much time looking at numbers at corporate America… which is exactly why I love escaping into the real and interesting world. I LOVE TRAVELLING!! Also, I am a ENFP, we never settle hahaha! And diverse culture, new experience, new connection is all I want!
I’ve lived in China, Washington DC, Denver, and New York, and traveling has slowly turned from a hobby into a lifestyle. I’ve visited most states in the US, and countries like Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Peru, and Canada — and every trip convinces me the world is much smaller and friendlier than we think.
Right now I’m planning something a little crazy: taking about a year off to travel around the world, learn languages (especially Spanish), meet people, and experience life outside of offices and spreadsheets.
I’m the kind of person who loves wandering cities with no plan — discovering coffee shops, museums, street food, or random neighborhoods locals actually hang out in. I am very chill!
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
For me, the best part of travel isn’t the landmarks — it’s the people.
Couchsurfing feels like the most human way to experience a place.

Música, películas y libros
I love big cinematic stories like Interstellar that make you think about time, space, and humanity.
Some movies feel like traveling through emotions and places — Call Me by Your Name reminds me of a perfect European summer, while Cinema Paradiso captures nostalgia and growing up beautifully.
I also enjoy films that explore life and identity. Fight Club always makes me question consumerism, Dead Poets Society reminds me to think independently, and Manchester by the Sea is quiet but emotionally powerful.
For love stories across time, I really like the Before Trilogy, One Day, and La La Land — they capture how relationships and life evolve.
And of course, sometimes you just want great storytelling and action like Mission: Impossible, Shooter, or classics like The Godfather.
Movies are one of my favorite ways to understand people, cultures, and different ways of living.
Algo increíble que he hecho
Moving across countries and cities alone and building a life each time. Every move felt scary at first, but it always led to great friends, great stories, and unexpected adventures.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I can share travel stories, life experiences living in different cities in the U.S., and probably some random facts from the data world.
I’d love to learn languages, hear about your culture, and discover your favorite local places that travelers usually miss.
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
Respect, curiosity, language exchange, travel stories, technology and humanity, and any good conversation!
