I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. Growing in the warm heart of the Chihuahuan Desert allowed me to hold everything to be precious just like the drops of water in a vast desert. I moved to Athens, Ohio where the changing seasons taught me that the only thing constant in the world is change.The earth has taught me so much, so now I'm just givin' what I can...

As far as music goes I dig Erykah Badu, Guided By Voices, Grinderman,The Mars Volta,Modest Mouse,Jeff Buckley,The Smiths,Yo La Tengo, Seu Jorge,Animal Collective,Nina Simone, Rilo Kiley,Howlin' Wolf, and more.

I really enjoy reading a damn good book some of my favorites have been The Journey Home,God Bless you Mr.Rosewater,Diary,Tristessa,Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas,Into Thin Air, and Dangerous Lives of Alter Boys.
