About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy the ride ! life is too short to drink bad wine =)
ABOUT ME
I'm a 24 years old French girl, born and raised in a really small village (300 people, oh yeah ! ) in the South-eastern part of France, close to Italy and Switzerland. I moved to a decently big city (Grenoble, in the French Alps) to study Political Science. After I completed my master degree, I moved to the beautiful city of Stockholm where I enjoy living a great life, in awesome company and amazing surroundings :) As a descritpion, I'd say I'm a life-enthusiast. I'm most of the time happy and eager to do new things :) Maybe cause I've no doubts at all about where I come from (French countryside, but adorable by the way! Go skiing there! ) I'm so much into others' culture, origin, language, etc... I wanna see everything, learn everything, meet everyone, discover things all the time.. I'm a professional tourist :)
PHILOSOPHY
" Life is too short to drink bad wine", that's my moto :) there are so many things to discover, so many people to meet...
And "good mood always pays back". I always think that one should dare to do things, even if they look risky, if they're are weird ideas or projects, even if one is scared. Cause I'd rather feel some pain than regret not to have done something..
People tend to assume that things will always turn wrong, I disagree. And besides that, it seems that even if you hurt yourself, if you get disappointed, if you fail..well, this means that you're alive. That you tried a new experience, no matter what the result is. One is rich only of its experiences, of its failures as well as its successes.
For trying is the only possible way to succeed ! Life is too short not to try.... :)
I think we should look at the world and the people around us with child eyes : nothing's "normal", nothing's "as usual". Everything can be nice, amazing, funny, if you look at it in a certain (positive) way. Happiness is simple if you decide it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted some people (Won Mo from South Corea, Simon from France, Damian from USA- Germany...), both in France and in Stockholm. I also participate in meetings, events, language-exchanges, coffees, parties...and above all, I met and continue to meet tons of CSers, living in Stockholm or beeing tourists here, and it's always AWESOME! I can say that I met some of my best friends in Stockholm through CS :) So, vive couchsurfing !!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had a lot of drinks and meetings with several people from CS, throught gatherings or personal meeting ! I also hosted surfers, as described above. It's definitely nice to meet someone from a totally different place, to share your experience and to get to know each other though you don't actually know the other person at all, at first !! Most of the time, it goes really well and you feel comfortable and that ends up in making new friends !! The Couchsurf concept is totally cool, and it seems that Couchsurfers are always open minded and nice people !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I saw a northern light when I was in Lappland in February 2009... The sky was glowing, glittering ; pink, green and iceblue ribbons of light were wavering above me...Lifetime memory !
Two years ago, I attended and achieved a crazy sport competition : a Raid, that is a 2 days-race in the mountains, riding a bike, hiking, running, finding your way in the nature with help of an orientation-booklet, and this; 11 hours a day. Sleeping in a tent, without electricity. Thinking your body's gonna explode because of the crazy efforts every muscle has to do, that it's too hard, that you can't achieve the race, that you're gonna give up...but thanks to your team-mates and your will-power, you eventually surpass your own limits and finish this Raid ! And surpassing your own capacities, abilites, is an amazing feeling...
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm quite good at languages, I can teach you some french, italian, english..
I can take pictures and touch them on Photoshop so that they look better :)
