About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To peek into the societies of southeast asian countries and hoping to develop an understanding for much of the differences and similarities with other countries and people
ABOUT ME
A friend might tell you: Hanno is usually very busy and tends to run all over the place with too many things to do at the same time. But if you get hold of him he is a very good natured and kind person who likes to laugh and to have some good discussions about life. He really feels social responsibility and helping others is a daily mission. At some times he gets a little lost in his thoughts because there are just so many worth considering. But then he is suddenly back with tons of energy to step outside, take a deep breath and head out to see the world. But I think just stop by and see by yourself what I mean.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I heard so many great stories about couchsurfing and have met so manz happy people who have joined this platform that i decided to join in 2012. But then i only did so half heartedly and did not check on my profile very often... I do not want to belong to the ones who only take but dont give on this platform but i have to admit that it will start this way at least in terms of hosting and being hosted. Naturally i hope to be able to give something to all my hosts, too :) looking forward to meeting you all
Interests
Travelling is on the top of the list but travelling has many facets.
Sports is what I like most because it allows me to free my head of all these burdening thoughts about what could, should or might be done. But then sports can be anything: with a focus on rackets primarily tennis, table tennis, badminton, squash but then also volleyball, soccer or ultimate frisbee.
Going for long walks with friends and having conversations about personal issues which make me and the other feel trust between us.
Sharing experiences from prior travels and developing plans how the journey will go on and eventually taking the final step to start a new trip.
The global imbalance no matter whether it is culture, econcomy, geography, politics or demographics is something which will hopefully be the core issue of my life.
