About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live in happiness and peace.
ABOUT ME
A description of myself? Goofiness on the outside with beauty on the inside! I'm a laugher and joker. I love to smile and to make others smile. I like adventure. If you wanna drop everything, climb that mountain, explore those train tracks and tunnels, or dive and see what's on the bottom of that lake...i'm your guy!
PHILOSOPHY
Live freely, openly, and with love. If you can't learn to accept others for who and what they are, so long as they cause no harm...then you're holding the world back from enlightenment. Times need to change, people, and you can call it whatever you want, but it's true. WE NEED TO LEARN TO LOVE EACH OTHER. Everyone, without fail. In fact, I personally think -everyone- should be required to commit 5 random acts of kindness, per day. Or be tickled until they pee themselves.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I share my couch, when I'm there. Alabama, however, was never a hotspot for surfers. And I worked on the road for 2-7 weeks at a time since I've moved to Lawrence.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Well, I've actually had very little experience, through the site. But all positive, without fail! But i -have- surfed all over the world. My favorite place was Germany. I just walked into town, set up a slack line, and within 3 hours had a bunch of folks -arguing- over who I was gonna stay with. It was pretty comical. They all wanted to hang with the American. I've surfed my way through five continents.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books...anything worth reading. Me and books...we get along, yep. Movies, sure, if they're good, I guess...TV...it's whatevs. Not a fan of sitting in front of the boob tube. Music, however...music happens to be my drug of choice. And I'm not the least bit regretful to say I'm a pretty hardcore addict, at this point.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been blessed, so blessed, in life. I've been fortunate/determined enough to live a life that I'd honestly call adventurous. I've climbed mountains you've actually heard of. And I've jumped off of mesas with a dropchute. I'm deathly afraid of death...I'm very calculating about what I do. But I refuse to look back at my time's end and say I wish I'd done anything...I wish I'd gone anywhere. Like hell. You gotta go there, and do it, otherwise, you just plain miss out.
Teach, Learn, Share
You wanna go camping, hiking, climbing? I can teach -anyone- the basics, and a good bit beyond. If you happen to have a natural affinity to any of these thing, I can expand your knowledge and experience in thousands of ways. My best childhood friend and I sat down and tried to guesstimate as best we could, one day, and I'd have to say that at least 1/8 of the nights in my life, I've slept without conventional means. It's a personal choice. I'd camp 2 miles into the forest behind my house, growing up, with just a horse and a dog and some oatmeal and berries I pick. Just because I hated being inside so much. I started camping with my friend Shane at age 6. And by age 8, my parents got me a bulky cell phone and just accepted it.
