About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn about the world the only way possible, with a hands on approach using the mind, body and soul as my hands, and by meeting lots of humans / To discover my inner musician / to teach, and learn from, the children of the world.

ABOUT ME

The things I live for in life are; music, art, all living things, and adventures. I first travelled in 2007 for a year and now that too is something that I just can't live without. I crave it! I have joined CouchSurfing because it is an incredible community of like-minded folk whom all have the innate desire to breathe in the wonders of the world.
I am a teacher at heart and feel that with all the injustices present in our world today, education is the key to embedding the desire to make a difference and in encouraging resepct for all living things and the ecology of life, in the minds and hearts of our children and our children's children, etc.
Overall, I am relaxed and very social, and I truly enjoy the simple things in life, like a beer and a good yarn, or a walk in the park on a sunny (or rainy for that matter!) day. I sing alot and I dance how the music tells me to.
Life is good.

PHILOSOPHY

In education, I am driven by the construction of shared meaning. I believe in the power of listening, investigating theories and creativity.
In life, I think that too many people care much too much about how others perceive them or what others think they should be doing with THEIR lives! I say, do what you want to do and be who you want to be (YEAH!). There's nothing like indulging in your dreams and aspirations.

"The Alchemist" (Paulo Coelho) I've read repeatedly since I was a youngin', same with "Jonathon Livingston Seagull" (Richard Bach). I like books. The smellier and older lookin, the better.
