COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met some guys on a bus in Scotland that lived in London that were from South Africa. We ended up becoming good friends and spending loads of time on each other's couches while I lived there.

I've also couchsurfed in Colorado, Texas, California, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Hawaii.

I'm proud to say I'm a "legacy" couchsurfing member, and I've been around here for 8 years!

I rode my bicycle 3,150 miles from Los Angeles to Washington, DC. America is big, beautiful, and strange, filled with big, beautiful, and strange people. I've also been a high school English teacher to underprivileged students. That was probably the most amazing year of my life.
