CURRENT MISSION

To enjoy life and meet new people . . . I'm back in the 9-5 world, in a city I don't know, in a region I haven't lived in my entire adult life. I really just want to run away and find another adventure, but maybe meeting cool people here will keep me from doing that, at least until the student loans are paid off.

ABOUT ME

I'm just a midwestern transplant who wound up in Brooklyn, NY. Recently had to move back to Michigan for work, and am experiencing massive culture shock. I enjoy knitting, American Football, learning new languages, meeting new people, telling stories and FOOD! I also speak fluent Spanish, and would love to practice my rough Italian and French.

I have hosted in the past and hope to do so again in the future, but right now I'm somewhat limited as to space . . . although I might be able to start hosting again in the fall of 2015. I'm just surfing occasionally right now, and open to meeting people around here.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Napping at the top of a cliff in Alcoi, Spain. Getting into my first bar fight in Inverness, Scotland. Hitchhiking around Ireland in January. Stood on the edge of an underwater cliff on the Bruce Peninsula in Canada. Also once got to stargaze in the middle of the woods in Northern Michigan, where the sky was so clear you could see the milky way and the spot on Jupiter as it rose.

I love to cook and tell stories, and I'm usually very good about leaving your kitchen cleaner than when I found it. I do snore like a freight train (so I've been told) but I can sleep through anything and sleep anywhere.
