ABOUT ME

I finished my master's program in urban studies (2017 summer), and now it's time to be freed from academia. To summarise who I am... I am someone always looking for happiness and smiles. I can be very critical about things, but I'm usually positive and happy. Critical thinking is what I learned through education.
I'm easygoing and friendly, and I love people in general. I prefer a simple and non-materialistic life, and I believe loving and caring can make our life much much better. That's the spirit of CouchSurfing, right?

Having nice people around is my favourite thing so I'm looking forward to meeting you!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting locals and seeing how they live is a must when I travel, and I'm almost never interested in famous touristy things. I always try to avoid tourist areas but I prefer to randomly get lost and find elements of ordinary life. CouchSurfing is a great way to do so, and it gives me a chance to truly explore the world and make friends all over the world. What a brilliant idea!

I've used CouchSurfing a lot both for hosting and surfing, and it definitely changed my life and the way I travel. Traveling doesn't make much sense to me anymore without CS.

Interests

I love being with people (but not partying), and I enjoy the presence of someone even if we are not doing anything together. I also love traveling, cooking, cycling, knitting, being in nature, growing food, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

movie... love stories like Titanic (once I watched it 8 times in a week a few years ago...), never watched Harry Potter

music... love songs, 80s, country songs. I prefer songs with meaningful lyrics.

books...I prefer talking with people to reading books because I can't exchange opinions with books.

*visiting people that I hosted in Japan, while travelling around the world and making new friends at the same time

Teach, Learn, Share

Being interactive with people is how I teach/learn, and CouchSurfing is a great classroom for that.

I love cooking so I'm happy to teach/learn/share cooking. Spending hours and hours in the kitchen is quite exciting! I'm happy to cook for you, and I'm happy when my guest/host cooks for me, too!

I want to share peaceful and good time with people, and more importantly, I'd love to share happiness!!

I'm a huggy person so hugs are welcome. To me it's a form of trust and acceptance.
