About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make some good friends/find my social circle in LA

ABOUT ME

Brand new to Los Angeles; born and raised in the Bay Area, spent past 5 years in Seattle, now down here working and reconnecting with old friends. Hoping to make some new ones in this unfamiliar city and find people who I click with so we can make some awesome memories together!

Life's an adventure and I'm here to seize it and make the most of it. I err on the extroverted side but also enjoy my private downtime and being alone with a book, musical instrument, or nature/the road.

I dig keeping it real and people who are the same. I like to make sure the people around me are enjoying themselves and I commit to ideas/events/people that mean a lot to me.

I don't dismiss any of life's spectrum: one night I'm raging, the other night I'm deep in a book, chilling at home, or talking philosophy over coffee with a buddy.

Work 9-7 M-F but usually down for nighttime hijinks or weekend adventures.

PHILOSOPHY

These things are better over beers, coffee, beach sessions, etc.

I don't associate to any titles but generally agree with the tenants of pragmatism, taoism, individual psychology, will to power, and a bit of zen buddhism.

Above all I believe in treating people right, doing your best, and enjoying the wonder of simply existing in this crazy circus.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately can't offer a couch for surfers right now as I will be moving to a different part of LA soon, however I am always down for coffee and meeting new people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Loved couchsurfing when I was in Europe 2 years ago, I'd say it was one of the most awesome experiences of my life especially being abroad and trusting random strangers. Had some great times and love the CS community, hoping it can now help me make some friends in my city of Los Angeles.

Interests

Music (listening and playing), psychology, philosophy, Bay Area sports teams, corporeal science, humor, film, craft beers, raging, wordplay, FOOD, self-actualization, inspiring others, spontaneity, adventures, learning, sex and gender studies, writing, driving, travelling, art, anything and everything; a never satisfied glutton for knowledge and experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Make it to where I am today; every moment's been crazy. This existence is a crazy and epic one.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be able to teach/share with you the following:

Music knowledge, if you give me a band you enjoy there is a great chance I would be able to help you easily find 5-10 more bands that sound similar or that I think you would enjoy. I have a great knowledge in most genres of music and love connecting with people over music.

I can teach you chords or how to play songs on the guitar.

I can share with you a new perspective on life, existence, philosophy/psychology.

I can show you a psychology trick or two that will teach you about yourself.

Always available to listen and offer advice from experience.

I am open to learning anything! I believe willingness to learn and try new things is one of the most important things in life!
