I love to be unconventional and have adventures while travelling. Treat me as you'd like me to treat you. I respect honesty and prefer people to be upfront. I hate to wear shoes.

Try not to get down when things go bad, fate and the goodness of humanity nearly always shines through before things bottom out.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've mainly surfed and when I get chance I try to participate in my local groups. I'd love to be able to host more and if I ever can I will.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I signed up to couchsurfing because I was keen to meet people when I was living in Bangkok, I never dreamed that I'd become a full time couchsurfer on my way home across Europe! Many people around the globe have shown instant trust put me up out of pure kindness and generosity and I'd love to pay it back/forward. If I have any opportunity to offer a couch even while I'm travelling then I will.

I'm quite practical so if I'm staying with you for a few days feel free to set me to work on any odd jobs. I can was dishes, cook an edible meal and have an ipod full of music and some movies to share.
I'll learn anything you can teach you to surf or just swap experiences.

One message I strongly would liek to spread is the following as it affects travellers so much:

When travelling to places which have not been influenced by tourists, I think that it's important to observe how people interact and try to follow their lead as much as possible. It's also essential to pay only for the things that you should pay for and to pay the same as the locals. Once you start throwing money and presents around and flaunting wealth there will
become a divide both with other visitors and within the community. The great experience you had there will be lost forever for people who follow you and you if you ever return.
