About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Understand my place in the world

ABOUT ME

Open mind and open heart.
Born in Israel, grew up in US and lived in Amsterdam, Rome, Paris, Valencia and Tel Aviv my home town. Everywhere I feel a little bit at home and a little bit a stranger.
Each year I go bike-touring for a month in a different and always try to stay with local people- the best part!

I worked many years in Human Rights and facilitating dialogues between Israelis and Palestinians (yes there are such things). Also in environmental NGOs and urban planning.

Mostly vegetarian (I still love fish and souvlaki), read a lot, love good conversation, funky music, hiking in mountains, forests and desert. I get along with strangers of any age, lifestyle, and beliefs.

PHILOSOPHY

Since the awful war in my country I am trying to be a little Stoic, not to lose hope.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Pure positive experiences!
I host travelers, mostly through Warmshowers (cyclists' couchsurfing network) and also through CS. To give others what I got from many beautiful people who hosted me.

Interests

Individuals- we are each a whole world. History, art, cities, alternative lifestyles, ecology, archeology, yoga, politics and social justice. And bike touring!
