My name is Hara, which is the greek word for "happiness" and indeed I am happy! I am a 20-year old student, passionate with travelling and exploring other cultures and languages. I am from Greece but I am temporarily studying in Budapest, Hungary and I am trying hard to make the most of it!
I am actually a student of English literature and linguistics and travelling provides me with great opportunities not only to interact with other languages, but also to practice my English.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that travelling is not a privilege, but a right and it should be accessible to everyone in the lowest cost possible. But most importantly, I wanna meet people who will make my stay in each place memorable. After travelling a bit, I've come to realize that it is not statues and castles that you hold dear in your heart in the end, but memories. And memories are created by people.

Given that I am partially studying literature for my degree, I have read many things and will not go into detail. All you need to know is my favourite writer, who is no other than the magnificent Neil Gaiman, author of Neverwhere, American Gods, Coraline, many collections of brilliant short stories and much more ^_^

I can teach you how to cook traditional Greek (vegetarian only) recipes, as I happen to love cooking! I can also teach some greek to anyone who is up for the challenge.
