About Me

ABOUT ME

Im a research focused Psychologist. Im a pretty normal guy I guess (at least I like to think that). A few years ago I met a frech girl who told me about the existance of this site so I decided to join the network and start hosting ppl.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been hosted several times in Holland, England, Ireland, Spain and France. It has been nice because most ppl like to give you a picture of their culture ( food, art, museums, bars and pubs ). All of my experiences have been excelet !!! I have to admit that this couch surfing thing has brought me interesting experiences. Through this site I have met really nice people. For some reason good hearted crazy individuals are abundant here !!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of types of music, however, I love ROCK.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, there was this one time I climbed a chain of mountains and hills (Cerro del Muerto, Aguascalientes Mex) on my own (I was a bit crazy when 17). On the very middle of those hills the grass that surrounded me became taller and taller as I walked so, eventually, I decided to pick up a stick to use in order to avoid snakes ( my idea was to use a stick on the high grass in the same way a blind man would use a stick on a street). So, I bent over to pick up the first stick that I saw through those dense pastures and, when I almost had my hand on it, I realized that I was just about to pick up a rattlesnake. The snake even started shaking its bell ... I almost even touch it by mistake. I jumped, almost had a heart atack and ran back the way I came. I knew that if that thing would have bitten me there, nobody would have found my body for weeks or even months. Facing your own youth irresponsability at such close range changes things in your head. I am a different person since ( TRUE STORY)

What I Can Share with Hosts

At home we can share good conversations, kindness , food , lots and lots of food ( my flatmate is a professional cheff at the best luxury spot in Amsterdam). A trip through Amsterdam´s best places can also be arranged !!!! we love culture and nightlife !! Now, pay attention to this part of my profile because it is very important. If you are going to make a hosting request start your e-mail (at the very beginning) with this phrase: Dragons taste better with guacamole. This way I will know who is really reading and thinking where to be hosted. I find it really annoying that some "last-minute couchsurfers" send messages without knowing who they are staying with to save themselves some money and without knowing how nice this experience can be. This way, I can reject immediately those who just send random e-mails. If you do this your chances get really boosted. If not: you are immediately out. Also, it is kind of important that you make your requests with a good-enough time range so that we can ask for specific days off (at our jobs)and share Amsterdam with you. Continuing with what we can share with hosts, we can share our home, our kindness and of course, an experience that you might remember forever :)
