ABOUT ME
My friends would tell me that I'm an enthusiast, outgoing, and a happy camper. Curious AF about the world and I get a lot of energy from being around fun people.

For a while, I was a freelance journalist traveling abroad for stories. I lived in Cairo for a while. CS helped to keep the budget down and to get a network of new friends in a new city quickly.

After finishing my degree in Economics I went to work with Development in East Africa.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I visit let me help out with cleaning and making food. I love dishing things up in the kitchen. I collect spices on my own back home so give me directions for your closest bazaar. In general glad to help around the house, cut wood, make fire, feed the cows, bring water, and all those normal things we do in our homes.

I might host in the future - but not to sure. Quite a busy life with too many projects and plans that keep on coming in the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
To be fair I have stayed at many couches in my life. But I don't use CS that much. I have used it in Ukraine, Somaliland, Russia, and Lebanon - but my reviews are so old(2012-2013) that most of them disappeared.

The people I met were awesome and super nice to me. So at some point, I should give back to the CS community by hosting.

Interesses

I love the mountains. I am into climbing and like to trad climb when time. Also a big fan of free skiing, cross-country skiing, running, and bicycling on both roads and in the forest. I also do BJJ if you want to join my gym for a rolling session.

Ps: and I love wine and food obviously.

I lied to the Ukrainian president once, claimed a mountain and I saw a sunset over Indonesian pine forest. Life can be pretty cool some times.
