About Me
Hey there!
My name is Harry (Harald) and I'm from Vienna / Austria, where I grew up. I lived a year in Tijuana / Mexico, where I had an incredible volontary-experience teaching and managing a youth center. I studied Hispanic filology at University of Vienna and did a masters in International law at Madrid's Complutense University. Now I'm finishing my law-couses and working at a Viennese law clinic in its refugge law-branch. I'm very open minded and sociable, loove going out, travelling and spending my free time with my Spanish girlfriend and friends. I'm also very much into sports, I do lots of cycling and mountain biking (and in winter skiing) and try to keep myself fit doing daily workout (with some [many] exceptions ;)). I love getting to know foreign cultures and languages and have a quite high command of Spanish and English (apart from my mother tongue German) and basic knowledge of French, Catalan and Latin.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
On the one hand, because I want to get to know new people and have an insight view of how locals are living, what there habits are and what really makes out a culture and its people.
On the other hand, I'm still a poor student (hoping to be not soon). Therefore I'm looking for a free place to stay to do what I love most: travelling, discovering new places and being surprised by this world's beauty.
Additional very selfish reason: I wanna have insider tips!!
