I am a restless soul, currently living in Mytilene, Lesvos. I have lived most of my life in Oslo, Norway and Venice, Italy but staying in one place seems to be not for me. Being a norwegian i have an enormous appetite for sun. At the moment my life gets meaning from meeting people, sharing stories and breaking boundaries. I try to be free from concepts and judgments about how life is supposed to be lived. I am a tranquil guy, i enjoy serenity, simplicity, kindness and all the simple pleasures in life.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am traveling a lot. The last 3 years my boat has been my home, but i am not tired yet of seeing new places and meeting new people. I am new to couch surfing, i usually stayed in hostels, but i find it to be a great idea so there is really no point not to give it a try. Besides i would really enjoy hosting people on my boat, both because i am proud of it and want others to experience how it is to live on a boat, and because it can be lonely at times! I have always enjoyed meeting other travelers.

兴趣

I enjoy creating music a lot. From my childhood i have always been playing the piano. I also play accordion and harmonica. I also enjoy running and working out in nature. And i love to have a swim from my boat, and to read a good book in the hammock afterwards.

My favorite author the last year was Charles Eisenstein for his views on the world and hopeful message for the future. I like a lot of different music, but being a jazz musician myself i love John Coltrane in particular for the uncompromising beauty and energy in his playing. Besides Johnny Cash and Alisson Krauss were always much played on the boat. About movies, i love "Coffee and cigarettes", "Walk the line", "The good, the bad and the ugly", and "Kung fu Panda".

I want to learn spanish, french, portuguese and greek!! I speak norwegian and italian besides english, if anyone are interested.. :) I know also a lot about music theory and improvisation! I`d like to learn how to be a better sailor and a better cook too..
