______________
After 6 years of zig-zagging around north america, i decided to come back home and apply some of the things ive observed overseas that can improve our quality of life. Since July of 2009, ive been back home, playing grownups and counting the days when i will hit the road again. Although Malaysia is where i was born and raised, its always the journey and being on the road that make me feel at home the most.

I travel like St Christopher !
You are the hardest of hardcore travelers, and may one day be our patron saint. There is no challenge that is too much for you, but don't get crazy, because you are not immortal...yet.
What type of traveler are you?
Take BootsnAll's Travel Quiz to find out.
---------------------------------------------------
i graduated in may 2008 and im on my travel rampage. currently im wasting more time in north america until i get my act together for my north-south american roadtrip.
although my passion is traveling, i love music and nature as well. in the past, i usually go somewhere and get lost - just so i can find my way back. we always do. thats the thing about traveling for me - the more i see, the more i know that i need to see more (im getting confused myself).
anyways, more about me:
chill, laid back, highly observant, respectful, hugable, washable, fire proof (kinda), loves hiking, into alternative energy and lovable (i hope :)
PHILOSOPHY
religion is man made and there is no right or wrong, just like cupcakes. we all are going to die, so why bother. stop trying too hard and things will come to you eventually.
my issue is that i cant stand absolutism. some people think that they are right and stomp their head to the ground trying to convince everybody that that is the the only right thing in the world. my philosophy is that right and wrong, good or bad lies in the head of the beholder. what right in one culture can be wrong in another, vice versa. when you pro absolutism, you are either experiencing superiority complex or inferiority complex.

Asheville-Citizen times wrote about my potluck!
besides sharing my stories and traveling advices, i participate in local activities such as potluck and night outs. i enjoy meeting new random people and going out with cool random peeps, mostly because theyre drama free and strangers tend to have a unique layer of honesty.

I am helping to popularize the CouchSurfer cocktail.
Make it at your next CS event or order it at any bar -
it's delicious! Please copy and paste, stars to stars,
into the "How I participate" section of your Profile
to spread the word.
CouchSurfer
2 oz. Malibu® coconut rum
1/2 oz. Amaretto
4 oz. pineapple juice
splash grenadine
Pour ingredients into a highball glass over ice.
Garnish with a lime wheel.
Trivia: The CouchSurfer was developed in late 2008,
with the input of dozens of Couch Surfers from around
the world, and especially those who took part in the
Great Unclaimed Baggage Center Road Trip of '08,
representing eight US states. In the tradition of the
"surf" family of drinks it includes Malibu and
pineapple juice, while the lime wheel pays tribute to
British sailors who were famously given lime juice to
ward off scurvy on their extensive voy
ages.
*****
It's now been made at bars and served at CS meets in
Detroit, LA, NYC and KL - all to great response! All we have to do is
spread it all over the world, one CSer at a time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
went on The Last Great American Roadtrip. traveled on a big bus (that we had tricked out with 3 beds, kitchen cabinets and artists corner) from Nashvegas to NYC to SF. en route, we stoped at so many places including denver for the DNC and the black rock dessert for the Burning Man - which happened to be the awesomest thing that ive ever done.
hitch hiked to bonnaroo 2006 and camped out and had the best time in my life as of 2006. met a girl and lived in nyc where i partied like there were no tommorow.
in 2004, after breaking up with my 4 years gf, i convinced my friend to come with me, packed my bag and went to KL central where we played nomadic roulette - we then decided my destination there and then. we ended up going to thailand and it was super awesome.

>> i think that CS is a great platform for us to coexist without the the influence of politics, governments and religion. we are all the same and we should be able to live in harmony. one day we would be living in harmony - even if its out of this world. strongly i believe that CS is a great tool for the WORLD PEACE.
