About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to make the most of my gap year
ABOUT ME
humans are constantly in perpetual change. let it be good or bad.
i saw my description earlier, and i thought it was crap because that wasnt me anymore, as i come to believe that i have grown.
a inquisitive mind who loves philosophy of life, although language isnt his forte. he will always try his very best to make the conversation as stimulating as possible. he is somebody that you can count on, let it be the talker or listener. he is just that flexible. a good company that you would want to have around. family guy and the simpsons have shaped his sense of humour of late. difference in culture, he noticed, can be a possible barrier. his studies on cultures, however, can ease the situation before you know it arises. left to savour childhood to the fullest, he grew up as not as very intelligent person, yet as he grow up his realisation of his shortcoming made him changed how he views his life. Now that he is finishing his conscription of two years with the army, he is ready to face the world with a new attitude.
PHILOSOPHY
you measure success yourself
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
touring Singapore for couchsurfers and non couchsurfers have become my basis of my participation in couchsurfing. constant contact with some of great friends from couchsurfings is one way how couchsurfings has served a great platform to make new friends
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
any travel experience i have i will consider as couchsurfing. the host doesnt have to be a couchsurfer, to classify the great stay over as couchsurfing experience. When i do travel i would normally visit my friends, who let me stay in their house.
Interests
my recent orthopaedic surgery on my knee has forced me to give up my love of my active lifestyle. running in the nature, playing football, and hiking are the great sacrifices.
flying has been my biggest dream in my life. becoming an airline pilot is my desired eventual career. this is fuelled by my love to see the whole world.
reading books during my recuperation has become my way of passing time, as well as the opportunity to catch up what i lack while i was in childhood.the fact that i am going to university soon i have immersed myself with academic textbooks.

Music, Movies, and Books
inspirational, peculiar movies interest me. what is important is what is the take out of the movie.
curious case of benjamin button, ruby sparks, the great debaters, the social network are to name a few
in my iphone there are only 3 genres of music. jazz classical and dance/ house. the first two are for reading books and when clear mind is needed. club music is good to liven up the spirit, and ego boost. podcasts such as radio lab and freakeconomics to stimulate the sluggish mind
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am constantly amazed of how much I have grown than i last thought.
Managed to escape a kidnapping attempt was quite neat!
participating in a real large scale war stimulation in australia i think is cool.
performing a failed 540' somersault in halongbay is an epitome of outrageous idiocy.
Teach, Learn, Share
with the right attitude, there is something to be learnt in a given moment.
as much as possible, i would want to share my belief in the world through exchanging of ideas. I always like an opposing or unorthodox way of thinking.
Internet could be a powerful tool for knowledge, the unpredictability and uniqueness of a stranger will certainly made you dumbfounded of how much you dont know about this life.
