ABOUT ME
I'm a bit of nerd, who loves reading poetry, and listening to a lot of varied music and cooking. Exploring the new and the old, theater and geeky awesomeness set my pulse racing. :)
PHILOSOPHY
blah - to all the things... love - to everyone
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I mostly love being a part of the local CS community... I don't host much (mostly because my place is a bit far away from the city center), but I love meeting people and going around. I'm a regualr at CS weekly meets and organise get-togethers at my place ocassionally. I'm always up for a little tour of the city :)
Interests
i love reading, listening to music..talking about it.. even singing a li'l ..though my friends tell me i'm tone deaf!, theater...thats the light of my life...for me nothing beats the feeling of standing in front of a lot of people and having their full attention on me ( add to that full lights and the fact that i can be just about anyone!!)..and jus hanging out with friends cracking silly jokes in general.. most often i'm heard saying " Its the season of cheap shots"

Music, Movies, and Books
music - 1st love - old school rock...in love with the doors..have my days with bands as far fetched as iron maiden and sigur ros...have a thing for norah jones as well..frankly i cannot even list all the genres i listen to n i'm always discovering something new.....movies i'm a tad lazy about...of course there's nothing like catching a flick with friends...rather i have boughts of movie watching..like watching a whole trilogy in a day.. though my fav movie would be "The Fall"...with books i'm partial with poetry...and contemporary fiction
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Been to the Taj Mahal (it took my breath away in spite of the countless times I've seen its image)
And I managed to graduate from IIT (not such a great achievement, bu still a milestone for me.)
Teach, Learn, Share
*being a naval architect i cant teach u the next best thing to walking on water
*engineer from india are also proponents of a soft kind of knowledge called "Jugaad" this is the NOT-strictly-by-the-book way getting things done.
*there are a innumerable little things that come with being an actor(on stage) that i can share
*i'm a average cook...i can teach rudimentary indian from an engineer's perspective
