About Me

CURRENT MISSION
To keep shifting from fixed mindset to growth mindset in different aspects of life.

ABOUT ME
From the land of hospitality, the largest democracy in the world and the birthplace of Chess, INDIA.

As one of my favorite authors on India puts it “Indians are the Italians of Asia and vice versa. Every man in both countries is a singer when he is happy, and every woman is a dancer when she walks to the shop at the corner. For them, food is the music inside the body and music is the food inside the heart. Amore or Pyar makes every man a poet, a princess of peasant girl if only for second eyes of man and woman meets.”
― Gregory David Roberts, Shantaram

Story telling, slacklining, performance arts, outdoor activities and sports, reading books are what define me.

Freelance Outdoor Facilitator for adventure activities.

Open to giving, receiving, and discovering the unexpected.

Big fan of trains, blessed with being a citizen of the country that has one of the the biggest rail system, and for those who dont know the Indian railways is the largest employer in the world. Travelling in trains in India is an adventure on its own.

I wanted to first travel the length and breadth of my country before i decided to explore any other country. I've travelled to almost all parts of India, and i mean the true India, the not so easily accessible parts, the small towns, the not so well known parts. I've lived and loved every bit of this amazing country that is India.

The philosophy, karma, yoga, prana, we have a lot of culture and ive tried understand these things as deeply as possible, its an ongoing journey.

A vipassana practioner who'd like to practice more.

Big on alternative medicine, alternative healing practices, play therapy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Good vibes, community building, love how couch surfing makes us open to new experiences and people.

The diversity of people across the globe is a beautiful thing, so i want to contribute by respecting and appreciating those differences, be they cultural or otherwise.

im a very freindly person and usually can put anybody at ease. i love making new connections and lasting friendships.

i appreciate how people are being vulnerable by letting us into their homes and lives, im learning to be more conscientious about these things.

It is an incredible way to experience the hospitality of a new destination with the inevitable local touch provided by your host. It’s a way to make friends on the road, to experience the local culture from a local perspective, to escape typical tourist traps, and more.

Interests

Travelling - quoting yet another favorite author “make a radical change in your lifestyle and begin to boldly do things which you may previously never have thought of doing, or been too hesitant to attempt. So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservation, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun. If you want to get more out of life, you must lose your inclination for monotonous security and adopt a helter-skelter style of life that will at first appear to you to be crazy. But once you become accustomed to such a life you will see its full meaning and its incredible beauty.”
― Jon Krakauer, Into the Wild

At the moment my life goal is to walk a highline, despite my fear of heights.

As i have my degree in Engineering, i have a keen interest in renewable energies, waste to energy projects, quantum physics. I want to pursue my higher education in these fields. I havent worked out that yet, just put that intention out in the universe and waiting for things to align.

I love spending my days in open public spaces, once i started doing that i've realised the importance of claiming public spaces, making people feel like they belong by forming welcoming communities. Also being in nature just fills your heart and soul with so much peace, joy and calm.
