ABOUT ME

I love anything that has to do with the outdoors. Since I live in Michigan, there is no shortage of water around me wherever I am at. I love going on google earth and finding lakes that may be hidden away from plain sight and fishing them. The feeling I get when one of those places turns out to be successful is so rewarding. I tap my fingers to any rhythm that I am able to listen to, I will find the beat in anything. I am not a shy person by any means, except when you put me on a stage in the spotlight. I have always been able to find the perfect ratio of work to fun. I believe that I am never stressed. I feel there is no point to stressing out because it will only slow you down. Find the fun in everything. I have only my parents to thank for my love of traveling. Growing up we went camping as much as we possibly could, and I haven't stopped traveling since.

Everyone has something to teach you. Emerge yourself in the life of someone else and you can learn so much.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The closest thing I have done to couch surfing happened during the spring of 2009. I was backpacking in the Smoky Mountains a bit too early in the season when a freak snow storm rolled in. We had to get off the mountain as quick as we could. We ended up at the Tennessee-North Carolina border with not enough cold weather clothing, entirely soaked clothes and gear, no cell phone reception, and no one around to help us. Fortunately, a truck drove by us and turned around to come talk to us, and we ended up driving with them back to their house in North Carolina where they fed us and dried our clothes and warmed us up until we could get picked up. This was one of the best experiences of my life with the nicest people I have ever had the chance to meet.

Any kind of music out there. I am a fan of many different kinds of movies as well. Same goes for books. It all depends on how I'm feeling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stayed in hostels around Europe, watched the stars at the top of a mountain in the Montana, and partied in the largest clubs in the world while in Ibiza
