Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm taking the long road to France, with the eventual goal of learning French.
ABOUT ME
I grew up in Nebraska, but moved to Seattle, WA when I was able both for the change in physical and cultural landscape. I love the tall trees of the Pacific Northwest. And the liberal-mindedness. I consider myself politically progressive and Seattle was much more like minded.
I've taken one long trip before, to Mexico and Argentina in 2006. The experience was life-changing, and so I'm at it again. Part of the previous mission was to learn Spanish. I feel pretty confident in it now, and I want to move onto French.
In Mexico I was largely a volunteer on organic farms through wwoof and would be happy to try something like that again.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm reconciling the eventual purpose of all things to die with the awe and timelessness in the moment of something beautiful
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just began really using couchsurfing now that I'm traveling. I had some exposure to it before putting my own profile to use through my friends BLONDELIZ and Pete hosting.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The time that I've spent with surfers is incomprable. The openness and excitement from meeting and helping other explorers inspired me to do the same.

Music, Movies, and Books
Pretty much anything you're in love with i'd love to hear about. The passion inspired by various media is its true significance.
As for me I like most types of music, but have a special place for old school r&b. Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, etc And let's not forget James Brown.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Oof, each in their own time.
Eating a sun warmed yellow mango fresh from the tree in Jalisco, MX comes to mind.
I worked on the rooftop of a 1000'+ building in 80 mph wind once. It was a mixture of exhilarating and exhausting.
Learning how to just relax and dance while I was in Argentina, at a house party. We all helped make dinner, ate it, then pushed the tables back and danced to the radio.
