I have worked for University of Calicut for 30 years since 1989. Now relieved of my duties as Deputy Registrar, Purchase Division, University of Calicut.
I am married. My partner Shiny is a Primary School teacher. My daughter Aleena has completed her graduation in English Language and Literature. My son Aman is a B.Tech (IT ) Graduate and now studying for PG Diploma in Advanced Computing at CDAC, Bangalore, Karnataka.

I am a Life Member of Youth Hostels Association of India. I have been attending the International Film Festival of India as Delegate for the last fifteen years.
I am also a member of Light Source, an initiative for photographers in Kerala.

Attended the Hornbill Festival in Nagaland, visit to Bhumla Pass and Thawang in Arunachal Pradesh, Kaziranga and Majuli in Assam, Kinnore and Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh.
