I'm an engineer from India living in the US for more than 12 years now, with 10+ years in the Bay Area. Prior to that, I lived and studied in upstate New York. I have lived in a lot of different cities my whole life before becoming a long-term Bay Area resident. I started my nomad journey as a teenager when I left home for higher education, moving from city to city in India.

I love cars, trains and science/engineering/technology related content and I like watching documentaries and YouTube content in these areas.

My dream is to live in the hills, grow food in a backyard garden and watch sunsets over the mountains while tending to farm animals/pets.

What I bring: Honest, responsible, and a drive to bring things back to life. Competitive at sports (I like basketball, snowboarding and mountain biking) and I am passionate about music and playing drums. I like hanging out with other Couchsurfers from the Bay from time-to-time for various events - birthday parties, karaoke, arcade at Miniboss and tech networking.

I met with a few Couchsurfers at an event and was amazed by how easy it was to connect with them. There is a certain spirituality I found in Couchsurfing where most people I came across are very interested in listening to other people's experiences without judgement, with empathy, and contribute to those conversations with their own similar experiences and wisdom they've gained by traveling a lot and meeting people often in extenuating circumstances.

Movies: I mostly like comedy movies and TV series that avoid serious content and take my mind away from the busyness of the day.

I went on an RV trip for more than 20 days with zero experience of driving an RV and it was one of the most amazing things I ever experienced. I traveled through several states during that trip - California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado and Utah, covering several National Parks and scenic areas.
