Hi. I go by “Hari.” Hari is short for Haritha. My name, roughly translated, means “greenery/nature.” I was born in south India and lived in the Middle East for ten years before coming to the states. I identify as Indian-American, as I share values of both cultures. I want to live in a world where people see more than just black or white, everyone has the opportunity to seek out more than just basic necessities, and no one can put out ones creative flame. As a student, I have been applauded by my instructors for hard work. I respect those who’ve had to work for everything that they have and have been raised to value education. When I am not studying, you can find me working to pay for school or taking risks, making mistakes, and learning from them. I’ve been described as being feisty, an adrenaline junkie, and having a soothing presence. I’m very fond of my three cats – I love them as if I gave birth to them. I don’t like typing “I” over and over again so I’m going to stop there. There has to be some sort of mystery when you meet someone or else there is absolutely no thrill to meeting new people.
