About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to learn, to create, to share and to inspire
ABOUT ME
About me? Well I am a funny little celtic thing which a penchant for paper! I love books and writing (and reading) poetry and drawing landscapes and taking portraits of people and collecting tiny miscellaneous things. I'm also very creative and make anything out of nothing!
I'm veggie, bisexual, in my 20s, am passionate about the things I care about, occasionally sing in strange places.
It is possible I am a fairy changeling.
PHILOSOPHY
life is special and should cherished while we have it, i don't believe in god or that there is any grand plan, i believe each person is in control of their own life and fate. We should live life to the fullest, every moment :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am new to couchsurfing so as yet, not much!
Surfing: I love to learn about the place I am in and want real stories for real people, I also love to tell my own stories and the folklore of my country, I'd love to present a gift to my hosts- to draw a picture (perhaps a portrait?), knit a hat, write a poem, sing a song?- my skills are various and enthusiastic if not always virtuoso!
hosting: I previously hosted when I had a lovely shared house, currently I'm loving with my partner in one very cosy room and haven't room for anyone to stand, let alone sleep!
Although I tuned out during the last year of my degree owing to intense work, but now I've got some time free I'm happy to meet travellers for a chat and a coffee.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My couchsurfing experience, both hosting and surfing, has been nothing but wonderful. When I started I couldn't believe the kindness of the people who opened their doors to me and was delighted to do the same for others.
Interests

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm doing my dissertation on romantic poetry so thats a pretty big thing with me, lover of literature in general- virginia woolf, chekov, thomas hardy are a few favourites. I love early black and white silent movies and quirky independant movies. Music wise i'm a total folky, stuck in sixties- dylan, baez, rolling stones, and a bit of Bowie thrown in, because you've got to love a bit of bowie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well I'm still alive and I'm wiser than I was which is my greatest achievement.
I've been homeless, I've lived in a convent, I've been an actress, I've made good choices and bad, I've known some wonderful people and have a few stories in the bag, all of which make me stronger.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love telling stories, can teach english i guess and about two lines of gaelic! As mentioned, music, art, and poetry and my fortes and i'm happy to share, enjoy, and generally be joyous!
