Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My CS experiences have been so great so far. I'm all about meeting new people, spontaneity and everything, but with Couchsurfing, it was honestly a little scary, you gotta admit. But the heart, passion, kindness and hospitality I've experienced has been amazing. Sometimes in our little comfort zones, we forget the beauty of humans and being humans.

And I'm just gonna put this out here so we're clear - I'm not interested to hook up, please!

Interests

Making videos is basically my life right now. But other than that, interests include: of course traveling, trying anything new, anything cultural, some photography, working out and food, some new and wild business ideas, some weird stuff like conspiracy theories, Christianity, etc.

I have a fascination with creating art and would love to incorporate that in my travels. Be it just sitting down by a landscape - drawing, painting, writing, taking photos or videos, or even reading. That's the introvert in me but I love to sharing these kinds of moments with someone.

I realize that traveling should be less self-centered and I try to do good wherever I go - learning and understanding about culture, helping out / volunteering and trying to be as waste-free as possible. I think it's very important when we travel - not to put as much damaging footprint behind. Please don't freak out if I'm picking up and cleaning up random things. Haha!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'd listen to any music actually. Favorite at the moment would be soul and RNB and some folk. :) I love to rave and dance. One of my must-do's when traveling is going to a local pub crawl. So fun!

I like movies that can have me cry buckets, or suspense films, but I highly appreciate films with stunning, well-thought cinematography. I can get very geeky with all the technical stuff and symbolisms.

Currently I enjoy reading success / business books. Gotta love the classics like 7 Habits. Learn something new everyday!

I am practicing cook, and I enjoy it. It's very therapeutic. I've had successes and my hosts loved it - I think. HAHA
