Mostly a farmer in exile, wanting to mix with other foodies and natural farmers. I have non-visible disabilities and a rather large dog who is my therapy companion etc.

Have had many interesting careers - Electrician, Construction, Info Tech Specialist ( media geek for UVM) -- and most recently built up a farm w/greenhouse from scratch. My culinary skills are pretty good, and esp. like making spicy ethnic food and breads !!

My male Newfoundland Odin is a real sweetheart and not full sized for the breed. Cats no prob.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Exploring options to live and work in Brattleboro area and need to get off of the hotels ($$) . Mainly hoping to eventually fold into a group/family of like minded agrarian types - who like a bit of art and activism here and there !

Hope to do this just for fun and travel as well .

Music LIVE is my favorite - and many flavors appeal to me - just not commercial nonsense....

Movie/Film - good examples of almost all genres - except full on horror. Comedy lately since the world's been rather dark. Obscure stuff from the 70's and before - that is fun to seek out too.

Bukowski, Vonnegut, H.S.Thompson.. and a lot of non-fiction.
