I moved to Denver about 4 years ago and absolutely love it!

ABOUT ME

I live in Denver, Colorado, USA. I've been here for about 4 years now, though I've frequented the city for over a decade. I was teaching part time at the university while finishing my MA degree in English Composition and Rhetoric, but recently I've put an end to both these endeavors. I did receive my MA, but decided teaching at the collegiate level is not for me. So now I'm now back in school chasing the dream of becoming a RN.... *sigh* It's bitter sweet being back in school, but I feel pretty passionately about this pursuit. I have long term aspirations of joining Doctors w/out Borders.

I've only been out of The States a couple of times. I've been to Peru, Nepal, and Tibet. All life altering experiences, as one would hope for from traveling.

I only speak one language--I see these as terrible flaws that I hope to overcome.

My art, I would say, is writing. I love writing, when time permits.
Avid reader: philosophy; theory; fiction; non-fiction; any and anything educational, entertaining, and creative.
