We are a family who hosted many groups before having kids and really enjoyed the cultural exchange. We travelled a lot then too but have been settled in Wellington since starting our family a few years ago. Graeme works and studies and Tabitha now stays at home with our 2 and 3 year old girls who are both on the autistic spectrum so keep her very busy. We are also expecting our third baby along in April. We have two small dogs. One is a very excitable 6 month old puppy who is fortunately toilet trained, but he jumps and plays a lot!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Tabitha: When travelling on my OE I myself was hosted for several days in Greece which was fantastic! Since I got back I've had many couch surfers stay with me and then us since meeting Graeme and it's been great! I also used to be a travel agent and so have a lot of knowledge of the industry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tabitha: I hiked for three days into a Thai jungle and stayed with the various hill tribe people.
