ABOUT ME

I grew up down the south of Australia in a town named RYE on the Mornington Peninsula. I have lived in Queensland, NSW and Victoria. My current home is Byron Bay. I have 3 Brothers , 1 younger and 2 older. i grew up playing AFL football (Aussie rules) til the age of 20 , i like to surf and use my time enjoying the good things in life like eating nice cheeses and i really enjoy cooking . Beaches have always been a stone throw away from my home , i feel too confined in city's , plus i really enjoy the small town atmosphere .

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i really enjoy meeting new friends and interesting people. When at home couch surfers that stay with me get to see what my life is about.
I've been traveling in Europe for a while and im finding that couch surfing will give you such a better feel for a town or city rather then staying in a hostel . the local know the spots to go !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done couch surfing through Norway, Denmark, hamburg, morocco, Poland, Portugal. I really love having couch surfers stay with me at home so i can live the traveling experience through the surfers .
its like hanging out with your usual friends except you know nothing about them! and genuinely i the people who are involved in couch surfing are very grateful and respectful . visited 26 states (11.5%)

Breaking away from the comfort of a normal life and exploring the boundaries of what you can make of life. i traveled europe for 10 months in 10/11 and had such an amazing time , then 1 month in the north and a bit of the south of thailand .

i try to teach a bit of the Australian lingo when o/s travelers stay!
i love seeing how people live in their culture . i find that even on the other side of the world we still understand each other, it doesn't matter if the language is different , were all human and i find it amazing that people i meet have the same beliefs, humor and thoughts as myself . i love hearing about people adventures and travels and sharing my own as well .
