About Me

I was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and moved to Cambodia at age 1 and moved to Oregon at age 16. I spent 15 years of my life in hot, humid, rainy, dry climates of Cambodia and my mother is Cambodian and my father is American. I am generally quite reserved and quiet but enjoy a conversation. I enjoy listening to stories and sharing stories of my own. I enjoy physical activity and used to bicycle competitively, as well as participating in many years of various sports and martial arts. I love video games and enjoy watching shows which include anime and mainstream shows like Lucifer and Friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am planning on moving from my own apartment out of state and into a new place. Travelling is expensive and I am on a budget. I wish to learn more about the area I wish to move to and hopefully, some of the locals can show some cool places, the various bike paths, and stores.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a wide array of music. For the gym, I listen to some hip hop, dubstep, rock, and things that get me hyped. When I am chilling I enjoy Korean RnB, Korean Ballad, some Japanese rock, folk-pop songs, and lots of other genres. However, despite my name, I am not musically gifted or practice any sort of instrument.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My biggest physical accomplishment is finishing the 100k bicycle race at age 14 in about 3 hours. The last 10k was hell and taught me mental fortitude.
My biggest emotional accomplishment is moving away from my family at age 16 to pursue a better education in America.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can teach some Khmer phrases and I am quite the exercise and fitness nerd.
Learn: I am young so I am interested in almost anything.
Share: I can share some of my second language, stories, culture, adventures, and how life is in a place like Cambodia.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can clean, cook, walk, bike, run (I am quite the newbie though), talk, listen, and workout with.

Countries I’ve Visited
