About Me

MY PAST
Born in Holland, in a village called Made. Guess i'm "Made in Made" ;)
My parents own a farm & I earned my first money with singing/performing. Later, i worked in a restaurant as a waiter. And i loved it.

MY FASCINATIONS / STUDIES
Studied: econometrics, psychology and marketing in a city nearby (Tilburg). Was a great time. Exploring myself, living in a house with people from Art School. After that i moved to Rotterdam and Amsterdam to work in marketing & team building. Clients in food, finance and creative industries.

MY WORK / BUSINESS
Since 2010, founder of startup Cinema Culinair... about: screening movies in restaurants. Motto: "what you see, is what you eat". At the very second. So that you can see, hear, feel, and ... taste (!!!) the movie. From: Julie & Julia and Chef to Estomago and La Grande Bouffe. Right now, it's a hit in Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Not sure where it will bring us.
In 2020 i moved from Rotterdam to Amsterdam.

MY FUTURE
Yeah.... guess my life is about commercializing my hobbies/fascinations. Do my own thing, and make a living on it. Will i become really rich? Guess not. I prefer the creative startup vibe over the scale up when all is about making money.
Guess, you'll not be surprised that i'm involved in a few more startups. Next to Cinema Culinair and A*Life, i'm cofounder of The-Village-People: creating communities in real estate.

MY LIFE
Is there more than work?? Euhm... yep. My boyfriend and my friends are very important to me. Sharing my hobbies with them (architecture, cooking, swimming, traveling, etc). Oh yeah, and i'm gay. So... please be open minded and curious.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i'm an explorer... always curious. New people, new mindsets, new ideas, new lifestyles, new "disorders", new films/recipes, new ways of "living together", new dreams/business... . And i love sharing. I LOVE that when i'm traveling. So i thought .... "why not take that traveling experience to my own place?".
