About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm searching for the best ways for me to apply my skills to keep people healthy
ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Miami, FL, recently moved to San Diego. I work with the local government's health department on different projects related to information-systems.
Friends will tell you that I treat people kindly and have an individualistic view of people's personalities; that I'm funny and optimistic; and that I am abnormally skilled at dropping relevant quotes for laughs.
PHILOSOPHY
"Some things will never get done unless you do them yourself."

Interests
I love learning about all sorts of things, especially things that help explain people's behaviors and things that can be used to improve people's lives. Right now, I'm keeping myself focused on learning how to use technologies to keep and make people healthy.
At some point in the future, I hope to switch scenes from working in the states to other countries where I'll have the opportunity to learn more about different languages, history, and cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Summer 2013 - my girlfriend and I drove cross-country from Miami, FL to San Diego, California and had a wonderful time seeing new places. To our surprise, the neatest place we saw on our trip was Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico.
Summer 2012 - spent three months in Guatemala for an internship, during my time off I would travel around the country with a friend, having a lot of fun meeting people from everywhere. Awesome places to behold (and play in) were the natural staircase pools of water at Semuc Champey and the Mayan ruins at Tikal..
I've spent some previous summers and winter breaks traveling for short periods of time (about a week or two), mostly to Peru to see family and to work on project with Engineers Without Borders.
Teach, Learn, Share
I recently started taking voice lessons so that I can sing with my car windows down. I have a skill for learning different languages and mimicking the proper accents. I know quite a bit about different fields of science and math. I love learning applicable things in general.
