I am a fun loving American guy living in and enjoying Japan. I love Japan and the culture here and it has been a great pleasure getting to know the people of Himeji and Tokyo!! I have lived here for the past 4 1/2 years and recently moved to Tokyo to start a new adventure.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed on a few couches in London when I was 19/20 before this site was created but to date I have yet to meet anyone via CS but would like to change that!

Interests

I love being outdoors. Sports, camping, swimming, tennis you name it I probably enjoy doing it (except for bowling...I HATE BOWLING lol). in the winter I love to snowboard. Generally I am up for anything new...except for bowling! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Great wall of China: twice, The Grand Canyon, At least 30 of the United States, London, Shanghai, Tokyo, Manila, I once surfed with a dolphin in California but couldn't enjoy it because I was terrified it was a shark!

I'd love to learn about your town and what "local" people do. I don't really like sightseeing when I go to a new place. I like people so I like to hang out and be local!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook! Would love to cook a meal for my host. I love to drink and would love to share a bottle or wine, a can of beer, or a glass of bourbon together.
