About Me

Hello fellow travelers! I'm Harun, a dedicated science teacher with a passion for exploring the world and sharing knowledge. I relocated to the vibrant city of Istanbul five years ago and currently live just 15 minutes away from the new Istanbul Airport, making it convenient for anyone flying in.I graduated from Akdeniz University with a degree in Science Education and am currently pursuing a master's degree in Science Education at Eskişehir Osman Gazi University. My commitment to continuous learning and technology drives me to constantly improve my skills in using and troubleshooting various technological devices and software. My professional journey is as diverse as my travels. I work as a science teacher under the Ministry of National Education and have gained extensive experience in marketing, hospitality, and customer service. I've worked in roles where human interaction is key, such as in hotels and restaurants. Additionally, I am a skilled driver, certified driving instructor, and motor vehicle examiner. In 2018, I lived in Italy for six months and traveled to 45 cities across 22 European countries, broadening my horizons and immersing myself in different cultures. I continue to travel every weekend, thanks to having three days off each week. Meeting new people and discovering new places is a passion of mine.I am fluent in English, have a basic understanding of Italian, and have studied German as a second language in high school. My language skills have greatly enhanced my travel experiences and allowed me to connect with hundreds of people from diverse backgrounds.Adventure is a significant part of my life. I enjoy extreme sports such as rafting and parasailing, and I make it a point to go rafting every year, even in the chilly month of February. If you're into adrenaline-pumping activities, I'd be thrilled to join you.
When I'm not teaching or traveling, you'll find me exploring Istanbul's hidden gems, enjoying its rich cuisine, or engaging in deep conversations about science, travel, and life. I take pride in my appearance and cleanliness, and I value good personal relations. I'm a problem solver, a team player, a manager and I'm always eager to take on new responsibilities.Feel free to reach out if you're visiting Istanbul or just want to chat about travel, science, or extreme sports. Looking forward to meeting fellow adventurers and sharing unforgettable experiences!@harunkarincali
