About Me
I've recently finished my studies in special education and i'm teaching to children with and without disabilities. I love travelling a lot, and since the economical situation is not so good in Greece , i decided to check on other ways to fullfill my dreams...and here i am...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When travelling i like to learn and feel the culture of people there. I find it really interesting to live with them and see their daily routines and way of living and not just the sightseeings. That's why most of the times i travelled to places where there was somebody i knew. This year i almost run out of such places so i tried to think of other ways. A friend of mine suggested me to try this site. I had no idea...but it seems to be excactly what i was looking for.
I am also very willing to host other people at my place! In Greece in old times used to lay always on the table one extra empty plate, and they said that it was for foreigners... I think i have inherited something for my ancestors!
Interests
I love countryside, animals, arts and cycling.
When i have free time i like drawing and painting with pencils but also on canvas. I'm self taught, since i have never attended any lessons. I just watch and try to make it. I think it's a way to set a mini goal and try to achieve it!
I live in a village 5km from the citycentre and that gives me the opportunity to have a mini farm in our yard, so if anyone would like to stay at my place, i think it would be better if he/she liked nature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The first time i travelled all alone from Greece to Sweden in order to see the place i was born. It was exciting because i had to stop in Copenhagen and live with people that i had never seen in my live, not even in pictures but they did know me when i was 2 years old!
